B&C Morning Show: Rangers And Mets Win, Yanks Lose, Sterling's Work Ethic Sparks PBP Aspirations

Judging by Boomer's reaction, I believe he was happy with the manner in which Jerry Recco began his first update of the morning.

Why, you ask? Because Jerry did so by highlighting the Rangers' 1-0 win over the Senators last night in Ottawa.  The Rangers' lone tally came off the stick of Craig's new 'adopted son' Brian Boyle - who has lit the lamp in each game thus far.

The Mets got their seventh win of the season with a 6-1 pasting of the Braves in Atlanta. Afterward, Terry Collins talked about 'grow-time.' I assume he was talking about the growth of his players.

The Yankees dropped to 5-5 after getting a heavy dose of Carl Pavano and losing to the Twins 7-3 in the Bronx.  The loss came despite back-to-back home runs to start the game from Derek Jeter and Curtis Granderson.  Jerry provided the audio of the great John Sterling describing Jeter's longball, during which we heard Sterling's voice crack.

Instead at poking fun at the Yankees legendary radio PBP man, instead Boomer and Craig praised Sterling for his work ethic before expressing their own desires to call a Mets game right here on WFAN...
