B&C Morning Show: Plaxico Could Be A Giant Again, Sabathia Is A Giant Right Now
When Boomer & Craig left that air yesterday at 10 a.m. the 'Run For The Gun' was officially underway. Since then we have heard plenty of rumblings involving both the Giants and the Jets.
The biggest story to follow thus far is Plaxico Burress scheduled to meet with the Giants about possibly reuniting. Boomer & Craig were baffled by the news, wondering aloud why in the world the Giants would want to go down that road again. Burress of course played for the Giants from 2005-2008, has since served a 20-month-stint behind bars for shooting himself and now his future team is uncertain.
There are also reports that the Giants are expected to cut Shaun O'Hara and Rich Seubert and may lose Barry Cofield to the Redskins.
Not to be left out, the guys paid CC Sabathia his proper due after a brilliant performance in the Bronx last night. Sabathia was perfect entering the 7th inning before yielding a 1-out single to Brendan Ryan, which some might blame on the 14 minute rain delay that preceded the start of the inning. Either way, CC was dealing - he finished the night with 14 k's in his 7 innings of work and for his efforts earned his 15th win of the season.
While talking about the great performance from the hefty-lefty - Craig drew a comparison between CC and Al Dukes - then Boomer got all deep...
