B&C Morning Show: MSG Goofs, Jerry Updates
Before jumping into Jerry's update, Craig had a bone to pick with the fine folks over at MSG.
When Jim Courier was in-studio yesterday, Craigie wanted to play the footage of Jimmy botching a crucial ground ball in the charity softball game at Yankee Stadium last month. However, MSG informed us that the video had been deleted...
However, this morning it was revealed that this wasn't entirely true. Listen to find out how the Jim Courier footage wound up being sent to the MSG mail room, and as a result was never shown during the show yesterday.
Then Jerry "Rello" Recco launched into his first update of the morning. The Yankees couldn't hold onto a 2-1 lead in the 8th inning with CC Sabathia on the hill.
The Mets salvaged a game in their series with the Phillies. But on a more entertaining note, manager Terry Collins delivered some Omar Minaya-esque quotes in his post-game interview, full of stumbling and stammering. And with Charlie Manuel in the other dugout, communication skills were at a premium in front of the clubhouse microphones.
