B&C Morning Show: Mouthy Giants Need To Tone It Down
Boomer and Craig kick off the final Football Friday of the year live from radio row in Indianapolis for their final show before Super Bowl XLVI. You can feel the excitement in the air as the Giants and Patriots get set to throw down for the Lobmardi Trophy.
Craig began the show this morning talking about the Giants' confidence level, which has clearly reached a peak over the last day or so. Between Chris Canty telling New Yorkers to get ready for a parade and Jason Pierre-Paul and Brandon Jacobs showing off their bravado, Craig says the Giants may be getting a little too big for their britches.
Boomer did his share of interviews on radio row yesterday, and he noted the overwhelming number of people who seem to be backing the Giants in this game. But Craig still can't believe the outspoken attitude the Giants are carrying simply because it's so anti-Tom Coughlin.
Also thrown into the mix was a little bit on the struggling Knicks, who lost again last night to the Bulls. Craig makes a bold statement regarding Mike D'Antoni's future with the team.
And despite acknowledging that even bringing up a story about the Jets is poisonous to the program, Boomer and Craig do spend a minute or two talking about Woody Johnson's plans to dine with Mark Sanchez in the coming weeks. In addition, it seems LaDainian Tomlinson might be ducking Woody's phone calls. All this and more as we get Football Friday rolling from Indianapolis!
