B&C Morning Show: Mets' Comedy Of Errors Forces Craig To Make A Life-Changing Decision
Craig was dumbfounded this morning after the Mets' latest performance. It happened at Citi Field last night, where the "Not So Amazin's" lost to the Pirates 9-3. It can best be described as a comedy of errors, as once again the Mets squandered a late lead and allowed 5 runs in the 7th inning, then 4 more in the 8th.
Craig said he has never seen a performance like that and then went on to declare he is officially done with the Mets for the rest of the season. Although not happy with the team himself, Boomer did not take part in Craig's abandonment, reminding his radio partner that he is a true fan and will continue to root on his team.
As for the Yankees, they completed a sweep of the A's yesterday in Oakland, but the story oozing from the Bombers this morning surrounds Alex Rodriguez and his cousin Yuri Sucart - aka A-Rod's "drug mule."
Craig admittingly has a "man-crush" on A-Rod, so the fact that the Yankees 3rd baseman is gracing the back page of the NY Daily News certainly brings a smile to his face. So that combined with the Mets' troubles had Craig a little torn this morning and as always, the Blonde Bomber is along for the ride...
