B&C Morning Show: Mets Believe In 7-Inning Games

With the 1st place Phillies coming to Citi Field this weekend, the Mets halted their 3-game losing streak in Chicago with a rain shortened, 7-4 win over the Cubs at Wrigley Field.  Dillon Gee overcame a rough 1st inning to improve his record to 4-0.

After jumping out to an early 1-0 lead, the Mets found themselves trailing the Cubs 4-1 after the 1st inning.  Considering the Mets' track record, Craig admitted that he tuned out, choosing rather to watch "American Idol" and other mindless TV.  He wondered: How many Mets fans did the same?

Boomer was busy and confessed to not seeing much of the game either, which left Al "Hughes" Dukes as the only member of the Morning Show Staff that watched the game in it's entirety, which is not a good sign for the "Not So Amazin's."

As for the Yankees, they played a day game in the Bronx, beating the Blue Jays 7-3 behind Freddy Garcia and 2 long-balls courtesy of Andruw Jones.  Mariano Rivera made his 1,000th appearance in a non-save situation for the Bombers.

Away from the baseball diamond, Tiki Barber is making headlines after comparing himself to Anne Frank, which made it onto Craig's radar and was also discussed to open today's Radio Program...
