B&C Morning Show: 'Linsanity' Overload Leads To Mets Talk
Craig declared early on today that he could not spend another morning talking about whether or not Carmelo Anthony and Jeremy Lin can coexist on the basketball court, preferring instead to break down the comments made my Mets skipper Terry Collins regarding his outlook for the 2012 campaign.
Collins is choosing to look at the glass as half-full, which led to Craig allowing himself to lose control for a brief moment and 'dream the impossible dream' with regards to his expectations for his beloved Metsies.
So it was on that premise that he and Boomer conversed early on this morning, breaking down the Mets' chances of writing a 'Cinderella Story' in 2012. The Dynamic Radio Duo even went as far as to put an over/under on a win total for the 'Not So Amazins.'
We also hear that the Mets, whose financial woes have been well-documented, have recently come into a pretty significant amount of money thanks to a dishonest former employee. The newfound riches have B&C thinking about a bolstered bullpen.
Boomer was sure to sneak in some Rangers chatter after the Blueshirts were shut out by the Penguins last night. So all of that, combined with a couple of phone calls, is how this Wednesday edition of the 'Morning Extravaganza' began...
