B&C Morning Show: Jose Reyes Is As Good As Gone; Mets Selling More Bricks

This Thursday morning the guys opened up the big program talking baseball, which isn't unusual considering the Yankees play in this town and have garnered headlines lately with the new contracts of CC Sabathia and Brian Cashman.

But Boomer & Craig were talking Mets, which is a bit unusual - especially in November.  This on the heels of the news that the Mets are likely not going to present Jose Reyes an offer, choosing rather to let him try to sign with another team and therefore closing the book of the 'Jose Reyes Era.'

Boomer & Craig were on the opposite sides of the fence, as far as whether or not the Mets should bring the 28-year-old shortstop back into the fold.  Craig was all for the Mets at least making an attempt to keep Reyes, while Boomer wasn't so sure he wants the 'Not So Amazins' to bring him back.

After discussing the Mets plan to raise revenue by selling more bricks at Citi Field, Craig wondered why - if they had no intention of resigning  Reyes - did the Mets not trade him prior to the deadline and at least get something for him?

Eventually we started to hear about Boomer & Craig's night playing coach, as the Dynamic Radio Duo roamed opposite sidelines last night for Fordham Universities inter-squad scrimmage, a game won by the Blonde Bomber's squad.

At halftime the two 'best friends' competed in a free-throw shooting contest, which was won by Craig, but not without controversy.  Stay tuned...
