B&C Morning Show: Johan's Amazin' Night, Mets' Amazin' Weekend
It was an Amazin' weekend for the Mets, which began with Johan Santana's no-hitter Friday night. On Friday's show, while talking about Carlos Beltran's return to Citi Field, Craig declared that - like Beltran - Santana is not beloved by Mets fans, while Boomer (a Mets fan) sang the praises of the left-hander.
Fast-forward to this morning, when we opened up today's radio program by playing a pre-produced piece which featured Johan's special night, mixed with audio of the Dynamic Radio Duo talking about the Mets' ace.
From there it was all about the Mets, as they followed up Johan's historic performance with a couple more gems - and because of their efforts, now find themselves in a tie for first place in the highly-competitive NL East. Discuss...
