B&C Morning Show: Jets Lose A 'Must Win'; Giants Entertaining In Defeat
Rex Ryan declared last night's tussle with the Patriots as a must win, then his Gang Green went out and got 'grounded and pounded'.
Jerry Recco began his update giving us all of the details on the Jets 4th loss of the season. We heard from an apologetic Rex, a defeated Mark Sanchez, a banged-up LaDainian Tomlinson, a frustrated Darrelle Revis and a victorious Tom Brady.
As for the Giants, they dropped to 6-3 after a 27-20 setback to the 49ers and afterwards Tom Coughlin commended his team's effort. Eli Manning played well in defeat and echoed his coaches sentiments about the effort being there.
Speaking of 'Eli-te', Craigie admitted this morning that he has come down with a case of 'Elie Envy' as the Giants signal caller continues to to play at a very high level.
Mario Manningham nearly hauled in - what would have been a game-winning TD - on the final drive only to have it go off his finger-tips and too his credit he faced the music and took the blame. His receiver mate Hakeem Nicks says the G-Men will be fine.
