B&C Morning Show: Jerry's Updates On The Giants'Win And God's Love

It was an update some believed would never occur, as Jerry Recco got things started with a thorough recap of the Giants' 24-2 beat down of the Atlanta Falcons at MetLife Stadium.  The win marked the first home playoff victory of Eli Manning's career and after hearing 'I Love it When You Call Me' Bob Papa call Hakeem Nicks' 72 yard TD reception in the 3rd quarter, we got to hear Tom Coughlin praising the Giants fans and from Eli referencing everyone being in sync.

Eli and Nicks were in sync all day long, hooking up 6 times on the day, for 115 yards and 2 TDs.  Brandon Jacobs led the rushing attack, racking-up 92 yards on 14 carries and ran the ball like the bruising back he can be.

On the defensive-side of the ball, Chris Canty was asked about Falcons' head coach Mike Smith's decision to go for it twice on 4th and 1.  We also heard from the man who failed to gain the elusive yard on both occasions, Matt Ryan who talked about his crushing failures.  Justin Tuck summed it up by referencing simply playing Giants Football, while Osi Umenyiora spoke of a satisfying feeling.

Jerry provided a view from the secondary courtesy of Antrel Rolle and an injury update as Aaron Ross and DJ Ware are questionable for Sunday after both suffered concussions yesterday.

The Broncos hosted the heavily favored Pittsburgh Steelers in Denver and you couldn't help but get pumped up after listening to Kevin Harlan describe Demaryius Thomas' game-winning, 80-yard TD catch in overtime.  The pass of course was thrown by Tim Tebow, just the left-handers's 10th completion of the day and we got to hear from him afterward.

Jerry then pointed out some numerical combinations that coincide with Tebow's well-documented faith before eventually moving on to Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin, who was obviously disappointed following his teams crushing defeat.

Speaking of Tebow's faith, Boomer & Craig engaged in a discussion on whether or not God loves all?

The Broncos will take on Tom Brady and the Pats Saturday night in Foxboro.

Plus, BCS title game between Alabama & LSU tonight, some college basketball scores, Knicks prepare to exact revenge on the Bobcats at the Garden and the Nets will host the Atlanta Hawks...
