B&C Morning Show: Jerry's Update Covers All Bases
The great Jerry "Rello" Recco came into the studio for his first update of the morning, and it had a little bit of everything mixed in.
First up, we heard from the major players in the Knicks loss to the Heat. But not before hearing some Marv Albert play-by-play on TNT, as well as some Craig Carton impersonation of Marv Albert's play-by-play. Jeremy Lin said his focus remains on improving every day. Amar'e Stoudemire didn't have any fun last night. Boomer and Craig have some things to say about Stat's play too.
Meanwhile head coach Mike D'Antoni admits that the Heat have set the bar in the NBA right now. The Knicks are trying to get to the level they are already at.
Then, Jerry runs down the local college hoops scoreboard, including the NEC champion being crowned. The rest of the update chronicles the Ryan Braun suspension, Rex Ryan's comments at the scouting combine, and the Mets getting ready down in Florida...notably Jason Bay and Johan Santana.
