B&C Morning Show: Jerry's Revealing Update
When it comes to morning sports updates, Jerry Recco is a pro's pro, as good as it gets.
With that said, he is also a Devils fan and before he got to deliver his first update of the morning, Jerry offered his take of last night's 4-1 Devils win and the 'left-hook' Michael Rupp threw in the direction of Martin Brodeur.
After that, Jerry began his update with a detailed recap of his Devils' dominant performance last night at the Rock, which was marred/highlighted by the Rupp-Brodeur altercation and the war of words between John Tortorella and Peter DeBoer that ensued afterwards.
As for the Yankees, Jerry summed up their third straight loss by playing a 20-second montage of John Sterling describing the unproductive third inning for the Bombers, accompanied by some post game reaction.
The Mets provided Johan Santana with a 4-0 lead, only to fall to the Pirates 5-4 after a series of costly errors. Afterward, Terry Collins cited the fans in the stands as the problem, while Pirates manager Clint Hurdle was shocked his team won the game.
Plus, the Thunder will now face the Spurs in the Western Conference Finals after putting Kobe Bryant and the Lakers out of their misery last night in Oklahoma City 106-90. After the game multiple people were shot in the area, eight people were injured - one critically. The Celtics took a 3-2 series lead with a 101-85 over the Sixers and the Magic fired Stan Van Gundy & GM Otis Smith.
We also heard all about the four-post bed Craig is having constructed in his backyard - Bougie!
