B&C Morning Show: Jerry's Lead Story Has People Talking - Tebow's Magical Touch

When Jerry Recco enters the Allstate Studio, sometimes he gets people talking and today, a day when the phones were not working properly, that was the case.

After enjoying a three-day weekend where he played a lot of golf, Boomer & Craig wondered if Jerry's focus would be where it needed to be and they didn't hide their concerns.  As it turns out, the weekend of golf with his father must have served him well, because his head was exactly where it needed to be and that became obvious when he led his first update with the upcoming press-conference today, during which Tim Tebow will be introduced as the Jets new 'back-up quarterback'.

We heard from Tebow's new coach Rex Ryan, who seems thrilled to have him in the fold - and his new teammate Mike Devito, who welcomes his presence in the Jets locker room and both on & off the field.

Going on the notion that every coach is hired to be fired, Craig predicted that today's press-conference will mark the beginning of Rex's demise and the outspoken head coach will go out in a ball of flames.  The guys then tried to come to grips with the reality that Woody Johnson, Rex Ryan & Mike Tannenbaum will not be at today's 'Tebow-Presser'.

After all of that, it was onto the healing powers of Tim Tebow, as former Bronco teammate Brian Dawkins praised the Christian quarterback for his 'touch'.

Boomer admitted to already being somewhat worn-out by all the Tebow talk, then Craig suggested Al Dukes try and get Tebow in here to see if he can fix the phones with his magical touch, because the engineering department seem to struggling with the task.

Plus,Tiger gets a win at the Arnold Palmer Invitational just as Craig 'predicted' he would - over & over & over again - the Final Four is set (Kentucky vs. Lousiville & Ohio St. vs. Kansas), the Knicks will be back in-action tonight against the Bucks at the Garden and hope to have Amar'e Stoudemire & Jeremy Lin in the line-up.  Mets new radio play-by-play man Josh Lewin describes a wind-aided long ball.  And some sad news, as boxing writer and sports historian Bert Sugar has passed away at the age of 74...
