B&C Morning Show: Jerry Updates The Masses
Jerry Recco was faced with a tough decision when he began his first update of the morning: Where to start? Eventually he decided to open with the Mets, who made the news cycle yesterday due to the actions of Fred and Jeff Wilpon.
Fred had a message for the fans, while Jeff's message was aimed at the players. Neither went over well - so as usual, the Mets talk was not of the positive variety. Craig decided to give the Mets 50 games to prove their worth, offering an ultimatum of sorts.
Meanwhile, Manny Ramirez is back in baseball after signing a deal with the Oakland A's and when asked about his past steroid use and whether or not he'll ever test positive again, Manny referenced a higher spirit. After hearing his answer, Craig instructed Al Dukes to book him on the show (don't hold your breath).
Plus, Mat Kenseth wins the Daytona 500 - Danica Patrick finishes 38th after being involved in a crash early-on, Bart Scott's future may not be with the Jets, Rangers blank the Devils 2-0 at the Garden and the Nets will be in Dallas tonight to take on the Mavericks...
