B&C Morning Show: Jerry 'The Kiss-Up' Updates Us On Mets, Yankees

I'm not sure if Jerry "Rello" Recco was trying to kiss-up to Craig or if he was being sincere, but prior to his first update he praised Craigie's prognostication skills, complaining to Boomer that he is tired of Craig always being right.  Like Boomer, I'm thinking Jerry was just being a "kiss-a--."

When he was through fawning over Craig, Jerry delivered his first update of the show, which was highlighted by the Mets' come-from-behind win in Washington, which was almost derailed after a horrendous call by 3rd base umpire Marvin Hudson on what should have been an 8th inning triple by Jose Reyes.  Luckily for the Mets and their fans, they were able to overcome to the blown call and capture their 6th straight win.

After dropping two straight in the Bronx to the White Sox, the Yankees hung on to get a 3-1 win and maintain their 2 game lead in the AL East.

Former Mets reliever and current Braves pitching coach Roger McDowell has been accused of hurling anti-gay slurs to some fans in San Francisco on Saturday.  Craig wasn't really shocked by the accusations, saying McDowell is not a good guy...
