B&C Morning Show: Jerry Smells Dominique's Shoes, Offers An Update
A lot was made out of Dominique's stylish shoes (pictured) this morning -- and for good reason.
Like Craig, Jerry Recco was having a tough time keeping his focus. So just prior to his first update of the morning Jerry took a big, healthy whiff of of Dom's new kicks -- and I think he liked it.
Then he provided a recap and some postgame audio from the Yankees' 6-0, rain-shortened win (the Bombers' 5th in a row) over the White Sox last night in Chicago. Phil Hughes pitched 6 innings for the complete game shutout win. Mark Teixeira set an MLB record by going deep from both sides of the plate for the 12th time in his career and afterward said it's not easy being as good of a switch-hitter as he is.
The Mets lost 4-3 to the Marlins - the 'Not So Amazins' 4th consecutive setback - but did get a highlight in the bottom of the 3rd inning when Jose Reyes went deep and the Mets 'kid-caster' Jacob Resnick was in the SNY booth to call the homerun.
The Jets re-signed linebacker David Harris to a 4 year, $36 million deal ($29 million guaranteed) while the Giants continue to deal with Osi Umenyiora's contract demands...
