B&C Morning Show: Jerry Recco's Life Outside Of The FAN

Jerry Recco (pictured looking rather dapper) entered the Allstate Studio dressed to impress and armed with an informative update to deliver to the masses.

But before he could begin, Boomer & Craig discussed the numerous rumors circulating as training camps open up today.  The Knicks appear to be on the verge of inking 7'1" center Tyson Chandler, which in all likelihood would mark the end of Chauncey Billups' Knicks career.

The Lakers appeared to have landed themselves Chris Paul in a three-team trade, but the deal was nixed by David Stern and Dwight Howard reportedly wants to be traded to the New Jersey (soon to be Brooklyn) Nets.

Regardless of what  move or moves they may pull off, Craig is confident the Knickerbockers' win total for the 66-game season will easily be in the high 30's if not even higher.

So with that lead in, after getting questioned about his shirts and slack combination today (B&C thought Jerry looked as if he was headed to 'Best Buy' to work a shift or teaming up with the 'Geek Squad' for an afternoon on fixing computers), Jerry briefly gave some tidbits on the NBA and then quickly moved on to the all important NFC East match-up Sunday night between the first place Cowboys and the New York Giants in Dallas.

DeMarcus Ware thinks Justin Tuck really wants to be a Cowboy, which Tuck calls nonsense.  Tom Coughlin knows his defense has to play well and Brandon Jacobs knows a bully when he sees one.

The Jets will host the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday and 'at the end of the day' Aaron Maybin took a page from Antrel Rolle's playbook when addressing the media.  Rex Ryan was asked about his back-up plan and says he doesn't have one,  while Jets special teams coach Mike Westhoff was asked about Jeremy Jerley's muffed punt last week against the Redskin and got a little perturbed.

Plus, Steelers beat the Browns 14-3 and now hold a 1/2 game lead over the Ravens in the AFC North, the Anaheim Angels ink both Albert Pujols & CJ Wilson, the Rangers lose 3-2 in a shootout to the Lightening, Devils win and Kansas hires Charlie Weiss as their new head football coach...
