B&C Morning Show: Jerry Recco's Almost Uninterrupted Update
Judging by his demeanor this morning, I think it's safe to assume Jerry Recco wasn't all that upset that Craig didn't make it in today -- I mean, Jerry did wish harm upon him just two days ago.
Jerry had a pep in his step as he entered the Allstate Studio due to the prospect of being allowed to deliver his informative and entertaining update with limited interruptions.
As he tried to begin it sounded as if Boomer was going to following Craig's blueprint, but to Jerry's delight the interruptions were kept to a minimum, which allowed the self-loving Recco to do his thing. He began with some NBA news, highlighted by Amar'e Stoudemire's insinuation that the 66-game season may be a little too much for him to handle.
Carmelo Anthony returns to practice, Chris Paul gets traded to the L.A. Clippers and apparently Dwight Howard will remain in Orlando - at least for the time being.
Eli Manning talks about the Redskins defense, Tom Coughlin mentions Justin Tuck's toughness, Hakeem Nicks assures everyone that the Giants will not overlook the Redskins and Kenny Phillips practiced and should play.
As for the Redskins, Rex Grossman tells us they don't suck and Roy Helu talks about preparing to run against Big Blue.
Moving right along to the Jets, Rex Ryan claims to know why Gang Green is 0-8 in Philadelphia, Mark Sanchez warns the Eagles may be down, but their not out.
Plus, Cleveland Browns president Mike Holmgren addresses the Colt McCoy-James Harrison saga, DeMarcus Ware sticks up for Rex's brother Rob Ryan, Ndamukong Suh goes on Sports Radio 97.1 the Ticket and things got heated and the NFL renewed their TV contracts with CBS, Fox & NBC through 2022...
