B&C Morning Show: Jerry Recco Updates (Because That Is What He Does)
In preparation for Sunday's match-up with the Bills, Rex Ryan has elected to give Mark Sanchez's backup, Mark Brunell, a couple of snaps with the first team during practice.
This is where Jerry Recco began his first update of the morning, providing audio of Rex (who seems to enjoy making the media froth at the mouth), Sanchez (who obviously feels slighted) and Brunell (who at 41 is almost as old as Boomer).
Craig thinks Sanchez has reason to be upset, so he offered some advice to the single, 25-year-old signal caller, that included banging some models and sewing some oats.
Then the guys talked some more about the circumstances surrounding Plaxico Burress' absence from Jets practice. Boomer said that it is fine to do the right thing - which it appears that Plax was doing, as he was attending a scheduled charity event - but you should not do it at the expense of your teammates.
As for the Giants portion of Jerry's update, it was dominated primarily their outspoken safety Antrel Rolle,who joined Joe & Evan yesterday for his weekly spot on the midday show and didn't hold back after the Giants loss to the Eagles Sunday night.
Plus, Major League Baseball and the Players Union announced a new 5 year CBA that includes testing for HGH and also extends the playoffs to 10 teams by 2013 and Milwaukee Brewers Ryan Braun wins the NL MVP...
