B&C Morning Show: Jerry Earns His Paycheck
The Yankees and the Mets were both idle last night, the Heat and the Mavericks play Game 4 tonight in Dallas and nobody cares about hockey. With that said, luckily for Jerry "Rello" Recco, Plaxico Burress was released from prison yesterday and here in New York, it's a pretty big story.
So Jerry began his update with Burress, who elected to wear a Philadelphia Phillies hat upon his dismissal. Eventually we heard from the Phillies manager, not on Burress but on his team's 3-1 win over the Dodgers.
Jerry did manage to fit in a brief recap from last night's Stanley Cup Finals Game 3, that saw the Bruins pound the Canucks by a score of 8-1. Vancouver holds a 2-1 Series lead.
Finally we learned that former Knick Mark Jackson will become the head coach of the Golden State Warriors, Jackson's first ever head coaching job. Also, former Met and Phillie Lenny Dykstra is in a whole lotta trouble...
