B&C Morning Show: Jerry Does Some Updating On Ike Davis, Yankees
Jerry "Rello" Recco was not able to deliver his first full update of the morning until 7:30 due to the visit from Ozzie Smith, but believe me it was worth the wait.
He got things started with the Yankees, who lost to the Kansas City Royals 4-3 in 11 innings. A.J. Burnett allowed just one run in his 7 innings but once again the Bombers' inability to hit, from Jeter to A-Rod right on down the line, was a concern.
The Mets had the day off after getting rained out in Colorado and today we hear Ike Davis is heading back to New York for an MRI on his sore left calf and that David Wright is not going to be in the lineup this afternoon when the Mets face Ubaldo Jimenez. All of the Mets talk got Boomer wondering where in the world Angel Pagan has been.
