B&C Morning Show: Giants Season Opener, Dealing With Sanchez & Melo Is The Man
This morning the guys had plenty to talk about, which worked out well considering the profession they've both chosen.
The guys talked a lot of football, beginning with the Giants opening-up the NFL season on Wednesday September 5th, at home against the Dallas Cowboys. Craig calls the decision by the NFL to make the the Super Bowl Champion Giants open-up against the Cowboys is a slap in the face, or a 'bitch slap' as Craig so eloquently put it. Boomer on the other hand didn't thinks it was a big deal at all and judging by the phone calls from a few Giants fans, the '2011 Pulse of the People' award winner was not alone.
Boomer & Craig also talked about the manner in which the Jets upper-brass has handled things with Mark Sanchez throughout this Tim Tebow ordeal - Craig summed things up by referring to Jets owner Woody Johnson as a buffoon, advising him to take a closer look at how Bill Belichick chooses to handle things up in New England.
Finally the guys spent some time talking about the Knicks, who will welcome the Magic into the Garden tonight. With all signs pointing to Amar'e Stoudemire being out for the rest of the season with a bulging disc in his back, the Knicks are now Carmelo Anthony's team moving forward, can he lead them deep into the playoffs???
