B&C Morning Show: Giants, Jets Control Their Own Destiny
Working on about 38 seconds of sleep, a very tired Boomer and Carton open up Monday's morning show discussing the local football teams. Despite the lack of rest, Craig is PUMPED over the Giants' enormous win down in Big D. He had nothing but great things to say about Eli Manning's performance, the defense on the other hand was a different story. Outside of JPP, Big Blue's D was nowhere to be found.
Boomer was equally excited. Had Dan Bailey made that field goal, he would have lost his lunch. Well, luckily Boom didn't have to take one of his well-deserved sick days. Boomer believes that not only did Eli save the season, but he also saved Tom Coughlin's job. He truly feels the G-Men will win out and take home the NFC East crown.
The Jets victory on Sunday was not exciting, but equally as effective. Outside of calling a timeout before their first play from scrimmage, the guys had no complaints about Gang Green's dominating performance over the hapless Chiefs.
According to Craig, both Giants and Jets fans should be ecstatic this morning, and why not? It was a great Sunday for the two locals. But there was something else that took Boomer's "breath away" on Sunday. His beloved Blueshirts abusing the Panthers. Of course Craig is not impressed and proceeds to mock him for liking hockey, and for his sissy choice of words…
