B&C Morning Show: Eli And Sanchez Are Subpar, Brandon Jacobs Is A Clown
The Jets and the Giants locked horns last night in the first ever MetLife Bowl. It was Gang Green that came away with the victory 17-3, but neither team looked very good in the sloppy preseason game.
Boomer & Craig's focus early this morning was fixed directly on the quarterbacks, Eli Manning and his Jets counterpart Mark Sanchez. Neither signal caller played all that well, as both passing games struggled. The guys talked about the positives and the negatives from last night's game, keeping in mind that is was just a preseason game.
With that said, Brandon Jacobs -- who is entering his 7th year in the NFL by the way -- got ejected from last night's preseason tilt after getting into it with Jets rookie defensive tackle Muhammad Wilkerson.
Craig summed up Jacob's actions by referring to the Giants running back simply as a "clown." Boomer agreed with his radio partner's assessment, saying a veteran like Jacobs should know better and Tom Coughlin has bigger things to worry about.
Before going to break, Boomer expressed his disappointment in Craig and is starting to question their relationship after Craigie failed to reach out to the Blonde Bomber with regards to Hurricane Irene...
