B&C Morning Show: 'Einhorn Is A Man'; Horrendous News For Mets Fans
David Einhorn "is a man" (says Ace Ventura) and he is also going to be the new minority owner of the New York Mets.
According to Craig this isn't good for anyone, other than Fred and Jeff Wilpon of course. Einhorn's $200 million "buy-in" only empowers the Wilpons, which is bad news for the faction of fans -- like Craig -- that were hoping they would be forced to sell the organization. Because of this, combined with the Miami Heat's win over the Chicago Bulls, Craig found himself in a foul mood this morning, despite staring down a long Memorial Day weekend ahead of him.
Boomer wasn't as worked up as Craig, partly because he believes Einhorn's involvement with the Mets could be a positive thing -- and because he is a level-headed human being.
So the guys opened up today's Memorial Day edition of the "Morning Extravaganza" talking about the Mets' cloudy future, the Heat's triumph over the Bulls in the "Windy City" and the usual nonsense you've come to expect...
