B&C Morning Show: Daniel Murphy Discusses Mets' Outlook In 2012

With the Mets preparing to kickoff their regular season Thursday at Citi Field against the Braves, Al Dukes booked second baseman Daniel Murphy to join the program to offer a player's perspective on the team's upcoming campaign.

First off, the guys asked Murphy about having to play the Yankees today in Florida for their final spring training game, before hopping on a plane to head north for tomorrow's first pitch against Atlanta, which is scheduled for 1:10 p.m. -- a plan Craig is not a fan of.

Murphy said it's really no big deal, he is looking forward to getting a few extra at-bats and said it is always fun to play the Yankees.  Murph also talked about the adjustments needed to play second base at the big league level, whether or not David Wright ever picks up a check and what the prevailing thought is for the season.

Murphy said that regardless of what happens, the plan for this season is to have some fun...
