B&C Morning Show: Creed's Scott Stapp Provides An Emotional Lift
With the idea of breaking-up all of the hard-core sports talk that occurs regularly here on the Morning Extravaganza, Al Dukes booked a special-guest that he felt would be an inspiration to both Boomer & Craig and he decided to surprise them with the special-guest just after 8 a.m.
The guys were thrilled to welcome in Scott Stapp, who is the lead singer for the band Creed - who after breaking-up in 2004, got back together in 2009 and are recording a new album, as well as planning a tour.
Boomer & Craig both have drawn inspiration from Creed's 1999 hit 'Higher' - which is the final song played during the Dynamic Radio Duo's emotional spin class.
The guys asked Stapp about Creed's break-up and subsequent reunion and Boomer praised the singer/song writer for his 'golden pipes'.
Craig attempted to get Stapp to flex said 'golden pipes' - which he eventually did, albeit for just a brief moment.
I think it's safe to say Boomer & Craig were both moved by Stapp's visit and praised Al for booking the spot...
