B&C Morning Show: Craig Chats With An American Hero, Colonel Greg Gadson
Amidst all of the wonderful athletes and analysts that have been on the show this past week, Craig was never more honored than to be joined by a true American war hero, Colonel Greg Gadson. Gadson has been named an honorary captain for the Giants in Super Bowl XLVI, the same role he undertook the last time the Giants won the Lombardi Trophy.
Craig briefly tells us Colonel Gadson's story. The man has fought in every major military conflict over the last 25 years. Unimaginably, Gadson lost both of his legs and suffered severe damage to his right arm when his vehicle was struck by a roadside bomb in Iraq. Colonel Gadson talks about that experience and what went through his head in the moments directly after.
Gadson also talks about his relationship with the Giants since the incident, and how the team has brought him in on several occasions to address the players. Craig mentions how impressed Tom Coughlin was with him specifically, and how Big Blue even gave him a Super Bowl ring following their win over the Patriots four years ago.
