B&C Morning Show: CC Decides To Stick Around

The Yankees and their fans got some good news yesterday, as their ace left-hander CC Sabathia elected not to opt out of his deal with the Yankees, as the Bombers extended his current deal to total five years worth $122 million.

This news had Craig 'the Mets' fan so excited, he talked about reopening his controversial 'Mets Fans for Yankees' church.  Either way, Sabathia will be a Yankee for the foreseeable and Craig commended the 'heft-lefty' for doing right by the fans and being 'un-greedy.'

Boomer didn't necessarily agree with Craig's 'un-greedy' assessment, I suspect partly because 'un-greedy' is not an actual word and the fact that Carsten Charles did score himself some pretty nice coin.

With the dust now settling, CC winds up with an additional year, more money and the Yanks have their Ace 'la-la-la - la-la-la -locked-up.'

We also heard about the Dynamic Duo's Halloween night as Boomer spent it in Kansas City watching the Chargers and the Chiefs battle it out on Monday Night Football (Boomer called the game, along with Kevin Harlan on Westwood One) while Craig enjoyed the evening acting like a big kid and trick-or-treating with his kids...
