B&C Morning Show: Brian Billick Talks NFL, Faking Injuries
FOX and NFL Network football analyst Brian Billick gave the guys a shout just after 8 a.m. this morning to talk some football in his weekly spot on the Morning Extravaganza.
Right off the bat they got into the issue of players faking injuries. The discussion was right on the heels of the NFL sending out a memo, a warning that stemmed from the incidents during Sunday's Rams-Giants game.
As a former coach in the league, Billick wouldn't admit to partaking in the practice of faking injuries, but he didn't deny it either - making a reference to the only "innocent guy in prison" - so take that as you wish.
Boomer talked about the fine-line the league is toeing regarding player injuries, pointing to Tony Romo re-entering Sunday's Cowboys-49ers game after breaking two ribs and puncturing a lung.
Boomer & Craig also picked Billick's brain about this Sunday's Giants-Eagles game, which he will be calling along with Thom Brennaman on Fox...
