B&C Morning Show: Boomer The "Redneck"
While talking about the whole A-Rod is under-appreciated topic and Derek Jeter's current "dry-spell" (no hits in his last two at-bats) Craig became a little distracted by Boomer's "Redneck" style today. Turns out Boomer's time in the sun the last few days have caught-up to him and his neck was apparently left exposed.
One might assume that Boomer's red-neck was effecting his mood because he was all over the Morning Show's update anchor, Jerry "Rello" Recco for the manner he delivered the results from the Mets 2-1 loss to the Rockies, calling it a one-sided affair. Then you realize that this happens often - Boomer yelling at Jerry - and chalk it up to the Blonde Bomber not being a fan of his work.
Initially Craig was on Boomer's side, but after listening to his argument he eventually agreed with Jerry and allowed him to carry on. And when he did we heard Mets Manager Terry Collins' comments following last night's game, where he took a shot at his "main guys" lack of production. Boomer & Craig suspect his remarks were aimed at David Wright...
