B&C Morning Show: Boomer Gets Heated, Tannenbaum Gets His Man, Beltran Gets Dealt
About a week ago the guys played a little 'where will Carlos Beltran end up' game and made things interesting by placing a little scratch on the prediction.
After Beltran was unofficially dealt to San Francisco yesterday, Boomer was pretty certain he won the bet, having picked the Giants as Beltran's destination -- but after hearing the tape it seems the Blonde Bomber in fact picked the Yankees. Hmm??? Boomer suggested the tape had been 'doctored' and then threatened both Al Dukes and Eddie Scozzare to produce the real tape or else. They fell in line and Boomer's name was cleared.
Then Jerry 'Rello' Recco got busy doing his thing and his thing is providing top-notch updates throughout the Boomer & Carton Morning Extravaganza. He got things started with the news that Santonio Holmes and the Jets have reached an agreement and the manner in which Holmes celebrated. The man behind the 'process' Mike Tannenbaum got credit from Boomer & Craig. The Giants have set their sights on Ahmad Bradshaw, while Eli Manning is indifferent about bringing Plaxico Burress back into the fold.

The Mets got their focus on and their 3rd straight win, beating the Reds 8-2, improving to 53-51, this after learning that Beltran had been dealt to the Giants. Mike Pelfrey went the distance for his 6th win of the year as life goes on with out Beltran.
The Yankees played a day game and came up short against the Mariners, falling 9-2 to 'King' Felix Hernandez. Phil Hughes took the loss and the questions surrounding the Yankees pitching staff remain...
