B&C Morning Show: Boomer Gets Comfortable, Jerry Gets Updating

Without Craig around, Boomer has been forced to take on more responsibility and has embraced the challenge. For example, yesterday he wasn't even sure what time Jerry entered the studio to deliver his update, but today when Jerry sat down the Booms knew why he was there.

So after hearing all about how Boomer is feeling more comfortable, Jerry slipped into comfort zone by beginning to deliver his first entertaining and informative update of the morning, beginning with the news of Chicago Bears wide receiver Sam Hurd arrested by federal agents after he allegedly agreed to buy a kilo of cocaine and asked an undercover agent about buying 5-10 kilos, as well as 1,000 pounds of marijuana per week for distribution.

Bears head coach Lovie Smith was asked about possible warning signs and talked abut the terrible timing on Hurd's part, based on the fact they are currently immersed in a playoff race.  There are also reports that there numerous NFL players on Hurd's client list.

As for the Giants, they are still trying to figure what happened on that Dez Bryant touchdown pass Sunday night in Dallas. Antrel Rolle fanned the flames on Tuesday when he joined Joe & Evan on the Mid-Day Show and claimed he was in the right spot, shifting to onus to his teammate Corey Webster.  Giants defensive coordinator Perry Fewell said there was plenty of blame to go around.  Looking forward to the Redskins, Tom Coughlin is well aware the Redskins are gonna fight but as for Justin Tuck, he will likely be a game time decision and Osi Umenyioara has been ruled out with an ankle injury.

Bart Scott said the Jets have a lot of work to do because they are not a Super Bowl -- or even a playoff team -- yet, before saying the key to victory this Sunday will be to stick together, then referenced Superman.  Aaron Maybin is worried about slowing down the dangerous Michael Vick, while Revis warned not to let the Eagles 5-8 record fool you.  Santonio Holmes talks about how bad the Kansas City Chiefs are, comparing them to a practice team after last weeks 37-10 win.

Plus, Rex Ryan's twin brother Rob compares himself to Sugar Ray Robinson, the Falcons throttled the Jaguars last night 41-14, some new from the NBA as Chris Paul introduced as a member of the iconic LA Clippers franchise and Rangers lose 4-1 to the Blues...
