B&C Morning Show: Boomer Assaults Muppet Craig; Brodeur Won't Act His Age
In an attempt to send a message to Craig, Boomer got a little rough with his Muppet in the Allstate Studio.
The Blonde Bomber threw the little helpless fella across the room and then proceeded to throw things at it, including a Brandon Inge bobblehead, which was worse for the wear after Boomer's fit of rage.
Jerry Recco was on hand to witness Boomer's breakdown and when it was over, he delivered his first update of the morning, which began with a thorough recap of the Devils' 3-2, Game 2 win at MSG. It was highlighted by John Tortorella's very brief postgame press conference, and Marty Brodeur claiming his comments about intentionally hurting Rangers players for diving to the ice to block shots were 'lost in translation.'
Based on Brodeur's explanation, Craig & Jerry played a fun little game.
Darrelle Revis praises his new teammate Tim Tebow and compares him to the Greek God 'Zeus.' 'Zeus' was of course the 'Father of all the Gods', which prompted Craig to compare 'Zeus' to Antonio Cromartie.
Plus, the Yankees got beat down by the Blue Jays in Toronto to the tune of 8-1, Mets fell to the Reds 6-3 but announced that Citit Field will host the 2013 All-Star Game. In the NBA Playoffs, the Celtics made easy work of the Sixers, taking Game 3 in Philly by the score of 107-91, while the Thunder took a 2-0 lead over Kobe & the Lakers with a 77-75 win in Oklahoma City...
