B&C Morning Show: Al Has Confidence And Jerry Has An Update
When Craig asked Al Dukes (pictured during a recent visit to the dentist) to offer up his 'Hellooooo!' after taking a look at today's fetching 'Attention Grabber', Al obliged. And when he did, Craig noticed a whole new confidence in the esteemed Executive Producer of the Boomer & Carton Morning Extravaganza, who has been 'killin' it lately.
Jerry Recco has been 'killin' it since I've known him and he continued that trend today when he delivered his first update of the morning, which predictably began with the Rangers 3-2 triumph in Ottawa. Jerry got a little caught up in the moment and Craig was forced to reel him back in, which happens from time to time -- nobody's perfect, not even Jerry.
Before they got off the Rangers, Craig took issue with John Tortorella's treatment of MSG's Sam Rosen in contrast to the way Torts handles the national media.
During this segment we also learned that despite having a little 'street hockey cred' in his past, it has been a while since Al has stuck his stick into anything.
Moving right along, the Mets lost two to the Giants and Jason Bay dropped another fly ball - the Yankees got 4 hots from Jeter, a 3-run HR from A-Rod and most importantly a win. As for the Nets, there time playing in New Jersey has come to a fitting ending with a 105-87 loss to the Sixers...
