B&C Morning Show: A Stupid Bet, An Update And Bad Tan Lines
Before Jerry Recco could get to deliver his first update of the morning, he was forced to face the music regarding a "stupid" bet he made with Craig yesterday. Thanks for breakfast, Jerry.
With that out of the way and Jerry a little lighter in the wallet, he began his first update of the morning with some audio of Red Sox manager Bobby Valentine saying some not so nice things about the New York Yankees.
Speaking of the Yankees, Joba Chamberlain felt good yesterday after throwing 16 pitches off the mound for the first time since undergoing 'Tommy John Surgery' last June and expects to be back before the 3 or 4 month timetable given by the doctors.
We also heard from everybody's favorite underdog David Wright or at least someone who sounded a lot like the Mets' 3rd baseman.
Plus, the Nets won a thriller in Dallas over the Mavericks 93-92, behind 38 points from Brook Lopez, who made a statement against the defending NBA Champs. Craig also made a statement after hearing Lopez's comments following the win. The Islanders lost to the Capitals 3-2 in OT, Knicks take on the Cavaliers tonight at the Garden and the NFL announced that the Giants will open the 2012 season on Wednesday night, September 5th against an opponent that is still to be determined...
