Boy, 4, Drowns In Backyard Pool On Long Island
BAY SHORE, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- A 4-year-old boy drowned Monday in a backyard pool in Suffolk County, police said.
The boy, Adrian Schrone, was found unresponsive around 1:15 p.m. in the semi-in-ground pool at his home, located on Prospect Place in Bay Shore, police said.
Adults in the home tried CPR, then rushed him to North Shore-LIJ Southside Hospital in Bay Shore, police said.
The investigation continued Monday afternoon, police said.
