NEW YORK (WFAN) -- Hey, Charles Barkley had something positive to say about the Knicks!
After praising Carmelo Anthony as "the best offensive player in the NBA" on Thursday morning, Barkley returned to form and buried New York.
"The Knicks still stink, dude," he told WFAN's Boomer Esiason and Craig Carton. "They're not going anywhere (in the playoffs), they're gonna be one-and-done."
Barkley has a long history of blasting the Knicks. Last year on the "Late Show with David Letterman," the TNT analyst and former NBA star proclaimed New York may have "the worst defensive team ever." He ripped the organization earlier that same day on WFAN for raising season-ticket prices, calling the move a "flat-out disgrace."
"I don't dislike the Knicks," Barkley said. "But they just don't have a good team. I just told you, they're the No. 7 seed. You guys act like they're the No. 1 or 2 seed!"

Sir Charles made no effort to hide his feelings on whether Kentucky coach John Calipari should consider a move to Madison Square Garden.
"Let me tell you something," said Barkley, "he's never going to be drunk enough to take that Knicks job."
Fresh off his first NCAA championship, Calipari reiterated earlier this month he's not about to leave "the best job in basketball coaching."
"That would be career suicide," Barkley said. "I'm a big, big John Calipari fan, but he's not gonna take that job -- 'cause that ain't a good job."
The hot play of Anthony hasn't hurt, either. "The Round Mound of Rebound" delivered his thoughts on that too.
"The reason the Knicks are playing well, that's 'cause they are well rested," said Barkley. " 'Cause they quit on Mike D'Antoni, so they've got a lot more energy."
