ASPCA Offering Free Spaying/Neutering Services This Week
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – The ASPCA is offering to spay or neuter New York City dogs and cats for free this Thanksgiving week.
From Nov. 21 through Nov. 27—except on Thanksgiving Day—the ASPCA will provide free spaying and neutering for dogs and cats and free rabies vaccinations at 27 locations throughout the five boroughs.
Services will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis. Clinics arrive at 7:30 a.m. each day. Animals eight weeks and older are eligible. Cats should arrive in carriers and dogs in leashes. Owners should not feed their pets after midnight prior to the procedure.
