'Amityville Horror' House Has A Buyer
AMITYVILLE, N.Y. (CBS 2) -- There's a new chapter in the story of the "Amityville Horror" house.
The dutch colonial in Suffolk County has been sold. The home reportedly went into contract this week.
The five bedroom home is where Ronald DeFeo murdered his parents and four siblings in 1974.
The deadly shootings inspired a best-selling book and a string of horror movies.
The home was on the market for $1.5 million.
The buyers have not been identified.
