Good evening, folks!
It was just a spectacular day out there today with plenty of sunshine. If you didn't have time to get outside, not to worry. We'll have a near repeat for your Labor Day tomorrow!
Expect clear and comfortable conditions overnight, with lows dipping into the 60s (50s for the interior). Then another day of mostly sunny skies for tomorrow. We do bump up the heat and humidity just a bit with highs in the upper 80s and low 90s ... going with 89 in the city. Whether you're headed to the shore, mountains or anywhere in between, it's looking like a fantastic holiday!
As we head back to work and school on Tuesday, the real peak of the heat and humidity sets in, climbing to a steamy high of 92 in the city. Some locations will be in record territory as far as daily highs are concerned. The next chance of some much needed rain rolls in for Thursday and Friday with scattered showers and storms.
Have a great night!
