7/15 CBS2 Friday Afternoon Weather Headlines
By Mark McIntyre, CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer
We'll be in the midst of another hot & muggy summer day, but it won't be quite as oppressive as yesterday. Temps will top off in the low 90s for many, feeling more like 95-100. One thing to note is the chance for any rain is quite low, but there still could be a storm or two that pass through. Heat alerts & air quality alerts will be in effect until later tonight because of our hazy & humid heat.

The weekend ahead looks pretty good! As of now it appears that a storm system will pass to our south, with the worst effects getting squashed by high pressure overhead. It'll also be a bit less humid through the weekend...but still hot with temps near 90 both days. Overall, conditions look good for any beach or country getaways!

Stay tuned for the latest, keep hydrated, and keep cool!
