7 Fun Ways To Celebrate St. Patrick's Day 2013 In NYC
The 2013 NYC Saint Patrick's Day Parade will take place one day before the holiday this year on Saturday, March 16. Celebrate the day that turns everybody Irish by taking a cooking course, enjoying a historical walking tour, dining on Irish grub, rocking out to live music - or all of the above. This St. Patrick's Day, PubCrawls.com invites New Yorkers to dress in green and spend the weekend hopping from bar to bar. Pick up your Pub Crawl map at a registration site then head out to visit any of the bars at any given time with your crew. Drink specials include a free 10oz draft beer at select registration locations, $2 and $3 beers, $3 and $4 mixed drinks and $4 Irish whiskey. Participating venues include Webster Hall, Lucky Cheng's, Village Pourhouse, Bar 13, SideBAR, Chelsea Manor, EVR, Rebel NYC, and Stir, just to name a few.
NYC Irish rock band Black 47 will perform with Irish dancers and other special guests to celebrate St. Patty's Day on Saturday, March 16. This is an all-ages show, so bring the kids along. Arrive early to enjoy dinner (doors open at 5 p.m.) before the performance kicks off at 7pm. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door.

Balducci's is offering a few items to create the ultimate St. Patrick's Day feast at home. Meet in front of St. Paul's Chapel on Broadway between Fulton and Vesey Streets on Saturday, March 16 at 11 a.m. for this special holiday tour. Your guide will take you on a two-hour walk through the former "Little Ireland" on the Lower East Side. Learn fun facts, while checking out historical sites downtown. Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for students.

Cook a three-course meal at Cook&Go this month at their 90-minute Irish Menu class to celebrate St. Patty's Day as a foodie. Start with a Tomato Whisky Boxty then create the main course of Guinness and licorice flavored steak with cabbage and lard stuff potato and end the evening by mastering a Bailey's Chocolate Cake. Class is offered at $59 per student plus $25 for an additional participant or an additional portion.
On Sunday, March 17 at 1pm take your whole family on a free exploration of Staten Island. Naturalists will lead guests on a one-mile hike in search of leprechauns and their treasured pots of gold for an outdoorsy St. Patrick's Day celebration. Dress appropriately for a hike and get ready for an active way to celebrate this holiday.
Both locations of this high-end sports bar will be offering menu specials to celebrate St. Patty's Day including a Pastrami Spring Roll, Corned Beef and Cabbage, Shepherd's Pie and a Guinness Chocolate Cupcake with Bailey's Buttercream in a Jar. These specials, along with the regular a la carte menu, will be available at The Windsor Gansevoort Park and The Windsor West Village on Saturday, March 16th and Sunday March 17th.
