6/11 CBS2 Thursday Afternoon Weather Headlines

By Justin Lewis

We're in for a hot one today as temperatures soar to a sticky 90°! And with a front nearby, we could see a storm here and there, but we're not expecting an outbreak.

It's a mild one into tonight with temperatures only falling into the low 70s. Can't rule out a stray storm, mainly in the evening.

Tomorrow's still warm and humid... just a touch cooler. A storm will pop here and there with the focus of the activity across inland areas.

A cold front will push through on Saturday. For now, we're thinking isolated to possibly scattered storms, but the models aren't hinting at widespread activity, so we're not expecting a washout. Highs will still be on the warm side in the mid to upper 80s.

A slightly cooler and less humid air mass will settle in on Sunday. And with high pressure nearby, skies will be mostly sunny and pleasant.
