5/8 CBS2 Sunday Evening Weather Headlines
By Mark McIntyre, CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer
Good evening everybody! We hope it was an enjoyable Mother's Day for all. As expected the morning rain gave way to gorgeous sunshine. It'll be clear tonight and winds will subside, helping the temps drop into the 40s, with even a few upper 30s.

Tomorrow looks like an even better day with plenty of sun and highs in the low 70s. Just a few cirrus clouds from time to time but it'll still be a splendid spring day. Tuesday and Wednesday look fine as of now with just a few more clouds mainly over our southern 'burbs. It looks like the bulk of rain with an approaching front should stay outta here. Temps both days will be just above normal in the low 70s.

Sunshine returns Thursday with temps in the low & mid 70s for most, 60s along the coasts, before a cold front brings a chance for thunderstorms on Friday.
Have a great night!
