5/18 CBS2 Monday Evening Weather Headlines
By Giorgio Panetta,
CBS2 Chief Meteorologist/Weather Producer
Good evening everyone,
Hope you're having a good day so far. It's been a pretty gray day out there. We're catching a cooler wind off the water that has lowered our air temperature close enough to that of the ocean, so now we have some fairly dense fog around the airports. This has caused some major delays.
We could see some fog again tomorrow, but the winds should shift west, limiting the fog threat. But with the westerly winds comes a risk for storms.
After 2 p.m. or so, the chances for rain go up big time. But we clear out nicely for Wednesday and Thursday with temps around 70 with lots of sun and a kind breeze.
Check back in soon for the latest.
