5/11 CBS2 Monday Afternoon Weather Headlines

ByJustin Lewis
CBS2 Meteorologist

Skies will be partly sunny the remainder of the afternoon with a stray shower/storm (especially across inland areas). And it will feel like summer again with warm, muggy conditions around the area. Highs in the low 80s.

Tonight stays dry across much of the area, but there's still a slight chance for a passing shower/storm. It will be another mild and muggy one with areas of fog developing overnight (especially along the coast). Low in the mid to upper 60s.

A cold front will approach the area tomorrow and may touch off a shower/storm here and there. Otherwise, expect a mix of sun & clouds, breezy conditions, and even warmer temperatures... upper 80s!

A much cooler air mass will settle in on Wednesday sending high temperatures back down to normal... around 70°. It will still be blustery out there with gusts of 30-35 mph, but we should see a decent amount of sun.

Thursday's looking like the brightest day of the week with high pressure overhead. High around 70°.
