5/10 CBS2 Tuesday Morning Weather Headlines

Good Morning!

Today will be a tale of two cities as far as the weather is concerned.

Let's pick two places in our area: Monroe in Orange County, New York, and Toms River in Ocean County, New Jersey. They are about 90 miles apart, but will have two very different forecasts for today.

Monroe will wake up to temps in the upper 30s and lower 40s, and see mostly sunny skies throughout most of the day.

Toms River will rise in the mid- to upper-40s, but will be mostly cloudy and some light rain is expected.

New York City will be split -- mostly to partly cloudy with only a slight chance of rain for the most southern of boroughs. Temps will remain in the 60s.
