Neuhaus - Easter

Get deliciously creative with Neuhaus' new hands-on Easter workshop -- for adults. The creative event invites chocolate lovers to learn the history behind Neuhaus, while dipping their world famous pralines with the Maitre Chocolatier. Guests will decorate their own chocolate Easter egg shell with decadent gianduja, a sweet chocolate and hazelnut paste, before filling with a personalized selection of pralines from Neuhaus' full collection. Workshops are priced at $75 per person and take place on Thursday March 28 and Friday March 29 (7-9 p.m.) and Saturday,March 30 (9-11 a.m.). Neuhaus will provide all materials including aprons, beverages and their pretty packaging to bring home your holiday confections.

Bring the whole family for Easter brunch at Ristorante Asellina on Sunday, March 31st. Enjoy a pre-fixe $25 brunch special or items off the a la carte menu while your kids play next door at the supervised "Gansevoort Hotel Petting Zoo." Choose from a classic pancake tower with strawberries and crème fresh or poached eggs with cheese foduta, black truffle and grilled ciabatta. Toast to the holiday with a Bellini Quartino Trio, featuring a selection of fresh purees to pair with prosecco. The Petting Zoo is open from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. and located at the Gansevoort Hotel's lobby level outdoor patio with sheep, lamb, goats, bunnies, chicks and an Easter Bunny.

Each year on Easter, beautiful bonnets with outrageous flowers and bright colors are showcased along Fifth Avenue as New Yorkers and their little ones celebrate the holiday by roaming the streets in festive spring wear from 10am to 4pm. The parade marches north on Fifth Avenue, starting at 49th Street. Snag a section outside St. Patrick's Cathedral for one of the best views of this promenade.

One of NYC's trendiest nightclubs and the place to see and be seen for brunch, is offering a lovely Easter Sunday meal to celebrate the holiday with your family. LAVO's special brunch menu will include Poached Lobster and Citrus Salad with Assorted Seasonal Greens, Crab and Artichoke Agnolotti with Lemon Butter, Roast Saddle of Lamb with Spinach and Pignoli with Roast Butternut Squash and Mint and Valrhona Chocolate and Orange Parfait with Pastel colored Rose Petals and Marinated Raspberries.
